I’ve never had a chance to go to art school. But that didn’t stop the dream! I’ve always drawn since I can remember. Now I’m nearing retirement and the dream comes even more alive.
Why do I love oil painting? Why do I paint? I HAVE to. Art drives my life forward.
I want to learn more about painting, but not only technique …but to learn what to paint and what NOT to paint…that’s an artist. Old Masters Academy would be a dream come true. My challenges in art is how to paint the features of the face in a more realistic manner, which only an academy can provide the artistic direction.
Oil painting is my life..to portray life, portraits of people create mystery and beauty. It’s a challenge to portray the personality of them. I hope to win votes, and with the training show that this kind of training helps artists rise above; painting far beyond the ability I could of dreamed of.
