My name is James and ever since I was a boy art has mattered a lot me, it has been one thing that I have been good. And its been the world that I get so much enjoyment out of. I have autism and dyspraxia and for me this is the best way of communicating with other people.
After school I when onto college where I did art and design courses and I then got a degree in fine arts. But they do not do teach you how to paint, which I find frustrating. And that is what I what to master. I paint and draw all the time and when I am not making art I love to go and look at art.
As a child my mother took me to the National Gallery in London and I loved looking at the old master. I think that it is great that the Old Master Academy course well show artists how to paint like one of the great old masters of the. And I would love to be given the opportunity of a lifetime to learn how to master the painting techniques of the old master.
