The Old Masters Still Rule

Having retired, I now have the time to dedicate every possible moment to replicating the work of the Old Masters as a hobby.
I am a self taught copyist who has learnt how to paint from studying the worlds greatest painters. I copy whatever style my friends and family want in their homes for no cost to them. I would like to win the Old Masters Academy course so that I can really do the the originals justice.

I would also like to learn how to do realistic portraiture.
As someone who has never had a single art lesson, I appreciate that the opportunity to have guidance from an academy professional could make all the difference. Learning by trial and error over the years is a slow and laborious process with varying levels of success and failure.

I can only hope that those of you that truly have a love of art, will vote for me as we all share such dreams. I just want to be the best version of me that I can ( as an artist ). For me classical art and the achievement of such a standard is the ultimate dream. A vote for me is a vote for yourselves – as we would be sharing the journey.
