Hi, My name is Ildikó Karsay from Budapest, Hungary.
Art is part of my life since my childhood, I always loved to create.

I’m a big explorer I love to try new medium, material and tricks.
I was working as a graphic designer for 15 years, I have 3 chidren and when we lost our job I returned to art seriously. I always loved to paint together with my and other children. As they are now teenagers I have more time to dive deep into art.

I love to paint with aquarelle, acryl and silk I started oil with ‘alla-prima’ a few years ago.
Oil is different and love at first sight.
I would like to improve in oil and create beautiful portraits like old masters and find my own style with the help of professionals.

I attended an art school because I wanted to improve in drawing and painting there were new topics week-by-week without explanation, like paint self portrait, stillife, nude, bottles or skull. It is difficult to paint and evolve without prior knowledge in anatomy or perspective what I learn from internet which needs too much time and maybe incomplete.

I need a ‘master’ who show technic and knowledge with lots of practice so I can reach my goal to paint realistic portraits with oil.

As soon as I found Old Masters Academy I knew this is the place where I can reach my goals.
Even your educational tips you send by email worth a lot. The critiques and and helping thoughts are very useful.

I have learned already a lot from the free feedbacks and I would be the happiest if my art would improve with them.
After 10 years of self learning I know that needs a “master” who help to shorten the zigzag ways -it would be great to learn from experts like Natalie and Vladimir.

I would like to be better and better. Thank you for this generous opportunity.
