Love to paint since my childhood

I am self-motivated Armenian Artist living in the UK. Love to paint since my childhood. My serious steps towards art were 6 years ago, when I took silver and golden markers and draw an icon of The Virgin Mary and baby Jesus on black paper without drawing faces. Being encouraged by my parents and friends I opened Facebook page, made and published lots of paintings in that style.

Art is the only way of expressing my thoughts and feelings. It is also undivided part of my life like eating and sleeping. I even succeed to make money by painting on leather accessories.

When creating paintings with silver and golden markers I knew that I painted faces in that way because I wanted to, but when working with colors the same question changed the answer: I painted because I didn’t know any other way of doing it.

I want to bring my skill level up so that I can paint anything the way I want it to look. I want to make art from my imagination with realistic details, not just copying, but understanding the lines and knowing golden rules.

From my experience I have realized that passion, emotion and feelings are important, but they are not enough without proficiency, skill and instruction. I am sure that with the Old Master Academy I will fill in the gap more quickly than with other resources.
