I am prepared to commit every available moment to my art

I am an Australian male, living in a regional (but mostly rural) centre of south eastern Australia, almost midway between Sydney and Melbourne.

After years of putting my artistic pursuits aside and working to provide a comfortable home and lifestyle for my family, it is now my turn to return to those dreams and develop a strong artistic position within the world of Artists.

My commitment to art was placed in the background during my ‘domesticated’ years but now I have retired I have plenty of time available, art is front and centre of my life. I am prepared to commit every available moment to my art.

The biggest challenge I face is trying to catch up on those lost years and developing the self-confidence to move forward.

I aim to learn and promote the traditional classical style of painting to a high degree as I feel this skill has been lost over the past 150 years or so. I want to lead the way in realist painting and teach upcoming artists there is more to true art than throwing paint at a canvas and making up a story to suit the result of the splattered paint on the canvas.

From what I can gather, the Old Masters Academy is what the world needs now to bring reality (and Realism) back.

Naturally I would like to win access to the Old Masters Academy course as it is in line with my current life objectives. However, I think I may miss out as I don’t know enough people to get enough vote to win.

I can only ask and hope people will vote for me to appoint someone who will be dedicated to bring back realist art and pushing it into the future.
