Nostalgic whipped cream memories

My name is Marianne Schilstra, 53 years of age, married with a farmer and I live in the northern part of The Netherlands. Since my childhood, I like drawing and painting. But due to life circumstances, there was not always time for it and I was’t allowed to join the Art Academy by my parents unfortunately.

The last 15 years I am more dedicated to do more of this beautiful way of making art by joining art classes and attend online courses.

I’d like to learn more skills like painting how the Old Masters did it.
I really love your painting and drawing academy and the way you teach art online. And who wouldn’t want to get a chance to win this wonderful Old Masters course.

I hope people will like my painting as I tried to paint a sweet memory of my childhood, when visiting my grandparents, in this way without the exact knowledge how the Old Master should paint this.

In this painting I show the viewer the whipped cream in the old-fashioned handmixer of my grandparents. Every Sunday after church this was a delicatessen for a young child and later with eggnog. When I look at this painting, I am back in time.
