The Old Masters course has helped me tremendously
Hi,
I always thought that to draw you have to be an artist, and for me, as an IT support engineer, there is nothing to do with a pencil apart from making notes. I become an IT support engineer because it was my parents’ wish. I could not have my own opinion on this subject because as they put it, I was “too young to know for sure what is good for me and what is not.”
My greatest hope is to become a self-sufficient artist. I’m twenty-eight, and I have calculated that I need at least three years of painting and preparing a strong portfolio of artworks to change my current profession for my dream occupation—to be an independent artist, specifically a portrait painter. Unfortunately, I do not have any “before” artworks to showcase as I just started.
The Old Masters course has helped me tremendously. I look at my first painting and can’t forgive myself that I hadn’t started your course in 2017, when I first subscribed to your mailing list. I was full of doubts and skepticism about my abilities and convinced that I lack any artistic talents.
I adore Vermeer and I want to make original artworks in the Old Masters style. My first painting is of my beloved fiancé in the style of Vermeer.
