It would be a pleasure to paint

When I was young, my mother would lay the homeworks of her highschool’s art students on the floor to evalutate them. I liked to judge them from my 5 years old mind. I also went through highschool’s art courses, even winning a medal for my good work. I then had a few live models drawing lessons, compositions courses and color courses through my academic background, while my interior design training and my Bachelor’s degree in animation art and science. From there, art as always been in my life in many ways.

I wish I could be more than an hobbyist doing oil painting. It would be a pleasure to paint and know what I’m doing. I would like to know how to achieve all I wanna paint with confidence. Renaissance classic painters have always impressed me and I would like my style to be more like them. Youtube videos are good, but there are no specific paths to follow, I feel sometimes that its all over the place. I wish I could ask someone how to solve my specific problems and follow the path renaissance painters were using.

This course could help me to better understand and represent shadows and lights, what color palet choosing when and how to paint different realistic textures. I wish I could win this course, so it will boost my confidence and my knowledge of how to paint like the masters. I feel that I could be a more accomplished oil painter that way.
