My name is Debbie and I am in my early 60’s. I spent my working life as an aesthetician which I loved. I live on a wine farm in the Cape in South Africa. My husband and I have two adults sons and my treasured German Shepard rescue dog.
Although I have no formal art training I have over many years attended various short art modules at a local studio. Art is in my ‘sole’ and I feel a persistent desire to keep on trying. I feel vulnerable each time I begin a new piece. It is challenging and often stressful because I care! It is such a rush and fantastic sense of accomplishment and joy when the flow is right. Art is a passion that flows through my life and now I am retired I am so enjoying the freedom of diving deeper into my creative side! …
