I do enjoy my work, but art is my passion

My name is Sunil. Currently working as a telecommunications engineer. I do enjoy my work, but art is my passion. A friend once told me that one needs to follow one’s dream, passion, anything that makes one feel at bliss Art is one thing that makes feel at bliss, never realizing how much time has passed.

Having two kids, one just a year old, it is challenging at times to get time to sit and complete a drawing or sketch at one go. Thankfully, I have friends request me to do a piece of art or I ask them what they would like me to do for them. While I don’t have a deadline, it helps me stay focused and build on God’s gift in a small way.

I mostly did pencil sketches and wanted to learn oil painting. I did a small course ( 8 sessions of 3 hours each) which did help me get started. I love the work of Caravaggio and hope to recreate his work.

My dream is to do art that looks as real as life itself and to achieve this I need a guide, a mentor, a teacher and truly believe that the course at Old Masters Academy can help me achieve this.
